Dr. Prudence Tam

Prudence Tam, OD

Dr. Prudence Tam attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) for her undergraduate studies, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychobiology. She then earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry, graduating with summa cum laude honors. She pursued further education and training by completing a residency in Binocular Vision and Vision Therapy through Marshall B. Ketchum University’s residency network.

Dr. Tam is able to practice to the fullest scope of her profession, offering comprehensive care as well as medical eye care to patients of all ages. She enjoys getting to know her patients and loves how she can be relational through her work. Dr. Tam grew up in the neighboring city of Rowland Heights and also lived in Diamond Bar for many years. She is excited to provide care to a community that she considers home!

Outside of the office, Dr. Tam enjoys spending time with her loved ones and being involved in her church community. She also loves baking and is on a continuous quest to perfect her chocolate chip cookie recipe!
