WHAT IS DRY EYE?
Symptoms like redness, tearing, excess blinking, fluctuating vision, light sensitivity, scratchy and burning sensation are all signs you have dry eyes.
Dry eyes cause extreme discomfort and have a severe impact on the quality of life and vision.
Quality tears are essential in maintaining the surface of our eyes healthy and keep our vision clear and crisp. Our tears have three important layers that have to be in perfect balance for the best quality tears.
When our eyes don't have enough quality tears to properly lubricate our eyes, dry eyes will develop.
Treatment Options
Designed to treat the most common cause of dry eye, our treatments improve the release of the oil from the small glands along the rim of our eyelids. The treatments clear away any clogged oil or debris that may be keeping our glands from producing the healthy amount of oil needed to keep our tears from evaporating too quickly and leaving our eyes dry.
Treatment options include both home and in-office therapies to provide significant results in patients that have suffered chronically from dry eyes. Along with the daily home therapy, we have been able to address dry eye issues rapidly providing significant relief.

- Tea Tree Eye Cleanser: daily eyelid cleanser
- Hot Compress: moist heat ~108 degrees for at least 10minutes
- Proomega2000: Pharmaceutical grade Omega-3 fish oils: DHA+EPA
- HyloNight Ointment: preservative-free ointment, used before bedtime
- Optase MGD: preservative, multidose bottle
Tear Care
TEARCARE®
- Sterile single-use flexible eyelid devices gently adhere to the eyelids
- Simultaneously heat both eyes for 15 minutes
- Blinking during the treatment assists with the clearing of the gland
- Customized and precise clearing of the meibomian glands after heating
